Mohammad Tarek, Chittagong correspondent: A historical auction has been risen in cricket history. Since the beginning of 2020 the world is suffering from dangerous Corona Virus (Covid-19).

Because of lockdown poor people has no job,the wheel of income is totally off. Some real heros of Bangladesh Cricket Board are trying to contribute to Covid-19 crisis selling their historical innings played bat to aid helpless people of Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi run machine wicket keeper Mushfiqur Rahim rises his historical double hundred scored bat in online auction from last Saturday after Shakib Al Hasan.

The last date of auction was 14 may thursday and finally a miracle is found! Musfique declared the name of owners of auction Pakistani all-rounder ex captain Boom Boom Shahid Afridi took the bat at $20000 the amount is near 17 lac taka in Bangladeshi taka.

Musfique had an extraordinary innings of a couple hundred against Sri-Lanka in 2013 with this bat and it was the first double hundred in test history of Bangladeshi cricket.

Musfique thanked Shahid Afridi for purchasing his bat and contributing to this crisis. Afridi also glad to see the greatness of Musfique said, that the real heroes can do something like that for his countrymen is truly amazing.

Afridi also said “we are also passing through such a situation and they also need support from each other to recover the dangerous situation. I am very delighted to have the amount of love and respect received from Bangladeshi people ever and will be remembered, said Afridi.
