CNI Desk: Bangladesh imposed a travel ban on all public road transport for 10 days from March 26 to April 4 across the country to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

Trucks, covered vans and vehicles carrying medicine fuel and perishable items and non motorized rickshaws  are allowed in country.

Buses, Mini Buses, CNG run auto rickshaws and Human Hauliers are not allowed in the road.

Bangladesh has imposed a travel ban on all modes of transport – rail, road, air, and waterways – across the country to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

The decision comes a day after the government declared a 10-day shutdown, effective from Thursday to April 4, to tackle the spread of the virus and to ensure social distancing and isolation.
